It will provide a cleaner access point to the water for all civic organizations as well as club members whilepreventing erosion to the river bank.
The project was completed under the direction of Daniel Mayo of B.S.A. Troop 555 in Mechanicsville Va.

He will be truly missed not only by his family, police family, and friends, but also by all the faculty and students whose lives he touched during the many years he served as the School Resource Officer at Byrd Middle School.
