I'm David and I've been in the appliance repair business since 2006. If you're having problems with any major brand appliance feel free to give me a call. I answer the phone 24/7 so don't be shy. If I'm tied up and can't answer at the moment leave me a message and I'll get back to you asap. I work around your schedule to arrange a time to visit your home and get your appliance back in tip-top shape.
Same day service is often available and I carry a multitude of common repair parts right on my truck. Sometimes I can even give you a general idea what the issue might be and a rough estimate of the cost right over the phone. I'm in business for the long-term. I'm on the level and up front about what I do which earns me many referral customers. If your appliance isn't worth saving I will never try to talk you into foolish repairs.
If what you're explaining to me over the phone assures me the appliance is beyond reasonable repair I'll say so right then and there. Why should you pay a diagnostic charge so I can tell you what I already know?

Services
Refrigerator Maintenance Tips At least once a year clean the condenser coils.
If you have pets you want to do this twice a year.
If you have many pets that shed you might want to do this even more often.
You'll need a vacuum cleaner with a hose, a condenser brush available from me or any local appliance parts store, and perhaps a phillips screwdriver or 1/4 or 5/16 nut driver.
For refrigerators with the condenser coils underneath you'll have to unsnap the protective grill at the bottom of the front of the fridge.

Range Maintenance Tips If your range has a push-button digital control you should never spray or pour any type of cleaner or liquid directly on that surface.
Apply the cleaning agent to a soft cloth, work it in a little so there is no excess, and use that to clean the control surface.
Liquids can seep behind the control pad and wreak havoc on the interface and control board.
The broiler pan that comes with most range/ovens is porcelain-coated steel and can be cleaned with a non-abrasive cleanser.

Washing Machine Maintenance Tips You're probably using too much detergent.
How do I know?
Almost everyone does.
Use too much detergent that is.
The detergent companies thank you.
For lightly soiled clothing such as from everyday wear all you really need is two or three tablespoons of detergent in a top load washer.
For front load system specific hints see the bottom of this list.
For cleanest clothes use the warmest setting recommended for the fabrics you're washing.
ALWAYS check the pockets before washing.

Dryer Maintenance Tips Always clean the lint filter between loads If the lint filter is torn or has any holes it needs to be replaced If you use dryer sheets you need to clean the lint filter periodically.
Fabric softeners and dryer sheets are essentially waxing or oiling your clothes and this material will build up on the very fine lint filter slowly clogging it.
This process takes a long long time so the filter will only need to be cleaned every five or ten years.
Using a nylon brush scrub it gently with warm soapy water.

Dishwasher Maintenance Tips IMPORTANT:Your dishwasher needs hot water to work.
There is a lot of pipe between your water heater and the dishwasher, pipe that is full of room temperature or cooler water.
If you simply start up the dishwasher it will draw in all that before the good 'n hot stuff arrives from the water heater.
So now you're trying to wash dishes with water somewhere in the 70° range.
Sure there's a heater in there but it's going to take some time and the washing has already started.
