This Kenmore Elite Dryer was having trouble with mode selection; the buttons were stuck and would not switch between different modes.
It would beep randomly, and many of the buttons on the dryer would not work.
It would run, but only in one setting.
We were able to remove the ribbon from the user interface and control board on the dryer and clean it with electrical cleaner, so that the signal now goes back and forth without error.
