I needed a new washer a few weeks ago and went to NAR! Told them what I wanted and they had just what I needed. The whole process was easy and painless and we were out of there in 30 minutes. Yesterday we got the official word--our 12-year-old refrigerator was indeed deceased. If you haven't priced refrigerators lately, retail prices are in the scary range. So off we head to see what we could see with our first stop to be Skent and Dent. On the way, we ran across this little appliance store on Cypress. They, like Skent and Dent, sell "open box" appliances. Long story short, we got a great buy with no visible blemishes for $100 less than Skent and Dent for the exact same model with visible scratches. And the customer service was awesome! By the time they got the refrigerator installed today, I felt like I needed to invite them to Thanksgiving dinner! So if you're in the market for a new appliance, give them a try. Ask for Lance.
